We now can provide individual testing with the ELISA or our pooled PCR technology.

Our goal has always been to give you multiple tools to eliminate BVD from your client's herds. With both the individual ELISA and pooled PCR you can expect the same great service and next business day results at today's competitive pricing.

Veterinary price effective 1/1/10 for new ELISA individual test

• Individual ELISA     $2.75 per sample

Our retail price direct to producers will be:

• 1 - 24 samples      $3.45 per sample
• 25 - 99 samples    $3.25 per sample
• 100 or more         $2.95 per sample

Dairy Update

API has also been monitoring dairies closely where PIs have been identified and removed. We have documented reduced abortions, improved pregnancy rates and lower somatic cell counts. The improvement in health and production made a large return over the initial cost of the testing

API has a convenient milk string/bulk tank test that makes it easy and cost-effective to make sure a PI is not in the milking string. Cost for the bulk milk sample test can be as low as 11 cents per cow.
